Carafa

Carafa is a roasted choclate malt made by Weyermann. It comes in three Varieties, Carafa I, II and III with the darkness and roast increasing with each variety. It will provide a deep aroma and dark color and should not exceed 5% of the grist. Wyermann also makes a dehusked version of each of the Carafa varieties which provides a smoother flavor than the standared version.
