This dude, Sebastian Schmieg, ran a Google Image Search recursively over 2,900 times. And this video is what you get. If you haven't tried searching with an image on Google Image Search before you should give it a try. Just goto images.google.com and click the little camera icon in the search box. From there you can upload any image and it will search for "visually similar images" to the one you uploaded. The results can be very interesting and this video which duplicates the process over and over show just how odd and interesting this can be.
